The hotel had very small rooms facing a loud road near an adult entertainment center, which makes it unsuitable for families with children. However, the hotel offered me a suite with a harbor view at an extra cost, making the stay more pleasant. The location was excellent for exploring downtown Auckland, but the dining experience was average with limited options. Service was responsive, with proactive attempts to address issues.

I couldn't stand the awful smell in the rooms, had to keep the sliding doors open with fans blowing constantly. On the bright side, the shower and bathroom were good, and having a washing machine and dryer was convenient. The bed was big and comfy, with lots of closet space. The kitchen facilities were great for cooking a full meal if you wanted to, but the room decor felt outdated, needing a modern touch.
